After this, the program just crashes and it’s gone. No nothing.
(pls do not ask for the purpose of this or any if’s and but’s… this can be chosen, so, it should work, not crash the program!)
Expected was the following result: The selectec part is 5 times longer (as the whole file would be 5 times longer now) and added into the not selected part (which, of course, remains in the same length)
This could be considered a reasonable assumption of what the process does. If this should not happen (or does seem to make sense to some), than this should somply be not possible to select.
One basic rule of developement: Whatever can be chosen by a user, will be chosen by the user. The program must cope with that - no matter what!
We are talking about version 12(!) not 2 or 3.So, as it stands, imho: This releasse is so bad, it’s unusable for the selected task (and many other, rather simple, tasks, that the program is suppossed to do in an orderly and proper manner).
There are some collegues of mine, who do not want to work with this program anymore, because of its unreliability and unstability - and so do I. It just costs too much time and nerves to work with it.
