Any help on using MOX6 with Cubase AI 5?

So I think I’ve figured out how to record patterns from the Yamaha MOX6
with Cubase AI 5, and it saves but I’d like to know, can the song play on
Cubase without the MOX6 being connected? If so, any help on how to do
this? Coz I’m struggling on this,

If you recorded audio from the MOX, yes you can play back the tracks without the MOX connected.

If you only recorded MIDI, then you still need the MOX connected.

You need to better understand the difference between audio and MIDI tracks
