Hi all,
Before I update my iPad to iOS 17 I just want to find out if anyone who has updated has discovered any issues with Cubasis3 or third party apps, I remember updating to iOS16 and had lots of problems with some of my synth apps 
Anyone? Also curious, before updating.

I have checked the forums and so far nothing has changed regarding synth apps, so……I’m going in 
Too late…………I’ve pressed install………….🫨
Every thing is fine after iOS17.0.1 update, not encountered any problems with any synth apps

On an older system, Sierra, due to software version requirements. After updating to 17.0.1, iTunes would no longer recognize the iPad Air 5. So impossible to sync/backup/restore from backup. Absolutely insane hoops ending up with wiping the iPad, reinstalling from a luckily still-signed iOS 16.6.1 ISPW file, then finally able to restore from the ios 16 backup. Which doesn’t reinstall all media files, that takes another batch of hours.
Was it not possible to just update your iPad Air to OS 17.0.1 without having to sync your files, or do you save all your files to Sierra library system rather than just on your iPad , I must admit I haven’t saved any backups outside of my iPad Air 4, you have just nudged me to do so!
I hope you manage to sort it out ok, I feel a bit guilty saying everything was fine with the update but then I had no inclinations of backup incompatibilities.
I save everything to iCloud and go back and forth between iPad and iPhone; all my data is always available. For $2.99 a month I never have to worry about backup issues. Doing it manually, seems we’re always stung by human error. Having all my apps save everything to iCloud is cheap insurance when nowadays most of us have home Wifi.
I’m running the latest Cubasis on iOS 17.1.1 and it runs flawlessly so far.
