Think it’s only a matter of time before all major software have MCP servers, no? Would appreciate if a Steinberg staff member could give their opinion on this.

What kind of functions do you foresee being delivered from a Cubase MCP server?
Basically that you can use AI as an operator for tedious administrative tasks in Cubase.
Sure, but you don’t need an MCP umbrella for that.
I’m interested to see if @Cuttlefish has specific ideas for what could be accomplished.

For example, imagine being able to select all MIDI and then opening up Claude and just typing “Give this MIDI a syncopated ragtime feel. Create 3 different versions so I can select my favourite.”
Here’s a plugin that sounds like it does what you want and has interfaces to Claude and other AI portals.
No MCP required.
