Don’t they have the other device panel anymore? Where you choose output level? (Hi Gain, +4dBu)
Johnny mind telling me where this window is located?
couldn’t find it nor ChatGPT knows lol
Sure, it is the RME driver’s control panel. It has several tabs, one of them is called “Gain”.
Eiither access it from Cubase’s Studio Setup or, at least for me, on the Windows task bar:
It’s the fire icon next to TotalMix. It reads RME, but if you are a fan of Mercedes-Benz sport cars it can also read AMG if you like.
Because it’s a brilliant tool with all the options even for occasional tasks or problems a professional audio engineer will run into, every now and then. In the end it’s just a simple matrix mixer with a handful of clever add-ons.
Oh, I remember. I think the Babyface has a hardware switch on the underside of its casing. Check it out.
Indeed as mentioned up here I was wrong since RME did the DAW Version of TM which is a much more simplified option for people like me who don’t do specific routings.
Tho’, funny enough, I switched back to the full one for now since in DAW mode I didn’t know how to audition both headphones (using CUE) and the Hydrasynth connected to 3/4 at the same time.
I have to learn what Cue is all about.
