Any way to find out exactly which preference made Cubase not start?

Hi all!

When I disable the preferences upon startup, Cubase finishes loading all VSTi and starts normally, however with my regular settings it does not… is there a way to figure out which setting is the culprit?

you can analyse the crashdumb if there is one generated

You can copy in the files from the prefs folder a few at a time to narrow it and regain some of your old settings.
