Any way to input a power chord in chord track?

It seems the chord track is unable to input a chord less than a triad.

That’s true.

The good news is, slam-dunk that middle note up an octave and you’ve got a spread chord. Very powerful sound or at least bigger with the same 3 notes. No more Mr. Nice Guy Triad.

Often with power chords you wanna do the base note, the fifth and the octave for a more full sound. At least that’s normal to do on guitars.

That’s all very helpful. Thank you guys! I’m no good at instruments and rely heavily on the chord track and its performance.

This is unfortunate. Just discovered this problem today. It would really be nice to be able to specify a chord with no third. C5 please Steinberg. How do I tag a post for feature request?

So does Cubase 13 add the ability to input a Power Chord? No 3rd?
