I use rx11 or the spek app to see and detect lossy transcodes etc, is there anyway to get wavelab pro to view from 0 to 22khz with the spectrogram or any other included features to view this in wavelab to avoid using other software’s ? I attached 2 images to get an idea of what I mean,
If you care about the linear frequency scale or a more nuanced color scheme you can set both within the Spectrogram Options window. While working in the Audio Editor just select the Spectrogram view tab at the bottom and press on the gear icon further on the right.
Above is a picture of my own settings.
You can set everything to your liking and your needs. With a right-click on the color gradient you can access a lot of options to quickly make your own Color Scheme, but you can always decide the position or color of a handle manually. Of course you can save your settings as a preset.
Mind that there is a Shared Setting, applying to all files you will open in WaveLab, and a This File’s Setting, applying only to the current file.
If you want to change the Magnitude Range on the fly without opening the Spectrogram Options window, you can do so with the slider below the Spectrogram view tab at the bottom.
If you want to show or hide the Waveform Overlay you have to drag the control wheel between the Wavelet view tab and the gear icon.
You might be looking for something like the following settings for the Spectrogram view to match Spek for example:
Or try the following alternatives:
Wow Thanks a million to both of you, I was messing with it for a while but couldn’t get the 19khz to show on the side, then realized I had to full screen it, felt like a rookie, highly appreciated one again,
