Any way to remove unnecessary time flag?

I got a time signature flag by accidentally adding the same time sig as was previously there (4/4), then deleting it, which created this flag

But I can’t find a way to remove it (note the line is already 4/4). Not a biggie but silly to have it there and gets in the way. Delete key doesn’t work on it. What the delete does is just enable the “Hide time signature setting”, but I don’t want it at all!

I suppose if I had thought to Undo my way out of it that might have fixed the problem, I think I just deleted the errant signature which created this.

Try “deleting” the barline, which will actually not delete it but reset it to a default barline. That often works with these.
