Any way to set a marker track to linear?

Let’s say you’re trying to work on a mockup, and you create a marker track below the audio track that you’re using as source for the mockup. You then listen to the song and create a marker at certain points in the song, like when the brass starts and so on. General markers to give you an idea of where things are.

The problem with the marker tracks is that if you change the tempo of the song, then the markers change with the tempo. They don’t stay at the same places they were in respect to the song, the audio file you’re using as the template, but they move left or right depending on the tempo you set.

Is there no way to create a marker track that will stay with the audio track no matter what? I mean as long as the audio file in it stays in linear mode.

Marker tracks can be in either Linear or Musical time base same as audio, midi, instrument tracks etc.

In the Inspector for MIDI tracks, instrument tracks, and audio-related tracks, you can activate/deactivate Switch Time Base to switch the track time base.

Perhaps you have hidden the time domain button using the Track Controls Settings Dialog. (it’s displayed by default)
