Any way to upgrade to 8.5 instead of 9?

I have a Cubase Artist 8.5 license, and I would like to upgrade to Cubase Pro 8.5. Is there any way to do that still? When I checked a few months back, the upgrade was only $250. I don’t have that option on the Steinberg website now.

Instead, if I want to upgrade from Cubase Artist 8.5, I am forced to upgrade to Cubase Pro 9 for $350. All I want to do is upgrade to Pro 8.5. Is there a way to do this still?

No. But you can upgrade your license to Cubase 9 and download, install, and run Cubase 8.5 Pro with that license.

Bummer… that’s an extra $100 I can’t justify to spend right now.
