Not that I miss the ads or anything, but after the “looking for a connection” message, the left hand side of my hub screen goes blank.

I’m getting the same thing, and this happened right after I upgraded to Nuendo 11.0.40
That’s when it happened on mine, too. May I ask what OS you’re running? I’m wondering if it’s an issue with Mac Mojave, since we haven’t been hearing from anybody else on this. Hasn’t bugged me enough to redo prefs or do the troubleshooting routine with Safe Mode, but that’s coming, I’m sure.

For what it’s worth, deleting my preferences folder seems to have taken care of the problem.
Dragged the old “Defaults.xml” and Presets folder back in to restore my current project history and… presets…
