I’ll be there most days, visiting with my Yamaha friends and others. Hoping for nice weather (we’ve been getting a lot of rain here in LA over the past month or two)
I may even finally meet Timo or whoever is attending beyond Greg etc. I couldn’t find him last year…guys in the ballroom would continually say “I think I just saw him over there”…..pointing to various spots of the cavernous and very dark room….never found him….could it be he’s ai? ![]()
Looking forward to the entire show as products of my interest are found in every hall there.
Last year’s show was steadily moving towards the pre-covid 2020 show interest-wise for me and that was great. Despite a lot of tiny direct-sell manufacturers no longer attending after 2020.
It’s always great to see Yamaha’s substantial visibility at Namm.
Of course…I keep waiting for them to do what they did at 1977 Namm……have a Pm1000 mixer in the booth, connected to a 2” jh16 16trk with the multitrack of America’s “Ventura Highway” that you could stand there, twiddling mixer faders & eq on. Very fun. All those little yellow vu meters bouncing around on everything (hint hint hint Steinberg
