i had MASSIVE problems running a $teinberg UR interface (UR824) with my X99 mb. (see other thread).
There is a big problem with the $teinberg drivers and this MB for some reason…spikes, dropouts, skipping (sounds like a buffer dumping and a stall of the DAW for a second and then no audio and then a burst as it recovers). I put it down to the different speeds of the various USB ports and the $B USB drivers just not managing to cope.
I changed to a MOTU audio interface…same USB lead and port…problems gone.
