I just recently got MusicLab’s RealEight vsti. I love it a lot. But I’m having an issue that seems to be specific to my installation of Cubase Pro 8. I say that because I can’t find any other reports like this from searching online.
Basically, I was getting random release notes during R8’s midi playback. Here’s an audio example of what I’m talking about: Cahoots — Ann Arbor tech coworking
I e-mailed MusicLab support and was given the solution to set File > Preferences > Midi > Length Adjustment to ‘0’. That worked for R8. But unfortunately, that created dropout issues with ALL of my other vstis. I just e-mailed support again but I wanted to post about this here too.
This does not happen in my other host. And from talking to a few people online, RealEight is working fine for them in Cubase. This issue seems to really happen when going from Sustain to Bridge Mute.
Example, tempo in 193: Bridge Mute > Bridge Mute > Sustain > Bridge Mute > Bridge Mute > Bridge Mute > Sustain
Does anyone have any possible solution for this?
