Hi Steven , Looks amazing! sorry this isn’t a booking question.
Since going back to Cubase / Nuendo, my humble S1 setup is so cool a dream come true, I have always used Avid/Digi hardware ProControl / Icon and S3 . but after leaving Protools for Logic support was very basic.
But with Steinberg, it is amazing. I heard it’s because Eucon comes from the Euphonix days when Steinberg were close. I did have some bugs and crashes last year, but I have been working closely with Eddie at Avid and latest builds have been very solid.
One thing I really miss is the Dynamics GUI which is not implemented at all on the S1/Dock setup, and gain reduction next to Meters. Not sure about the S6 support for this ?
I was hoping to get steinberg to add this I’v hard they are up for more support of Eucon , it would be great to get other Eucon users on board here

We’ve asked for Eucon updates several times Andy. People have requested to show gain reduction as well as getting VCA spill finally. There have been threads on it but not a dedicated feature-request thread that spells out what we want. Of course the obvious demand is to get whatever Pro Tools users get.
If you want to start a new thread with requests in it I’ll happily add my “+1” to it. Hopefully we’ll get more functionality this year. Hopefully…

I guess VCA spill is another point, As Protools( and Logic) Have folder tracks that can also Sum audio , which is something I’ve been asking for in Cubase since coming back at V12. I would have thought this is a major function for dub stage workflow.
Yes there are still a few things missing compared to PT on the S6, but I’m hoping that we’ll get there eventually.

It definitely is. I think for some of us with smaller setups being able to quickly navigate up/down the “track tree” would help. I use layouts all the time and that helps a ton of course.

Yep , he said the same to me , He’s been told Steinberg willing , And there’s a new guy working with Justin he’s on the case, so if Steinberg want to try to add support, they’ll be on hand I’m sure .
There’s been a lot of work done over the last six months on Eucon Stability with Nuendo !
