Anyone using the MOTU MIDI Express 128 with Cubase 12?

The cases on both my Roland UM3 MIDI interfaces are melting, and one of them already fizzed out.

So, I’m thinking of replacing them with the MOTU MIDI Express 128. Anyone using this with Cubase 12 and how well is it working?

Lots of problems with the Express 128 on my system (Windows 11). All ok when removing the MOTU drivers. Midex 8 still working great.
MioXL or Miditech 16x16 probably better options.

Midex 8 (if you can find one), also ESI make multiport MIDI interfaces.

Depending on what you really need, you could also consider a simple combination of splitters (much lower cost).
Like the Quadra thru from MidiSolutions, or their T8 :
