I was just watching this video: https://youtu.be/fzYp9bDBnBg?si=ow6OERf1-4DJTtNy and I’m very impressed by the Live Stage and Live Space feature in Dorico Pro 5. Instrument placement is something I always wanted to have, but the closest is a plugin from iZotope that kind of allows that placement, but in more rudimentary way and sometimes it gets difficult to control.
The way it is designed in Dorico seems much more elegant and efficient. That would entice me to buy Dorico Pro 5 since I got one of those royalty, pardon me, loyalty coupons that brings it down to $174. But then I would have to learn the software, and it doesn’t seem to me that I can work in Dorico the same way I work in Cubase/Nuendo, which is what feels at home for me.
I’ve used Cubase Pro since early 2023 and I know it pretty well, but not completely. It seems to me that there’s nothing remotely similar to Dorico’s Live Stage and Live Space, am I right?
