Does Steinberg have any plans to offer an alternative for dspMixFx for Android and/or GNU/Linux? Either way, why don’t you provide/open the API so that I and other interested developers can start working on alternative app’s?
I think UR44 is a great product but it is a shame to limit the user community to just Apple and Microsoft. I know Apple has a solid reputation for music production and live performance but it would good to use my Android tablet, at least, to control the internal DSP and mixer functions.
