Apollo x8 + Apollo X Gen 2 — Audio Connections portability

Hi,

Cubase post/scoring workflow (~80 cues/week).

Studio uses Apollo x8, laptop would use Apollo X Gen 2 (Twin X / x4).

Goal: open projects on the laptop without changing Audio Connections.

Same setup on both:

  • UA driver / Console

  • Monitor Out 1–2

  • Virtual outs 1–2 / 3–4

  • Video Sync on the same Virtual outs

Laptop is for editing/playback only.

Anyone running this successfully? Any caveats?
