I’d like to move the appdata storage location to my User Folder drive as I have redirected this to a separate drive. Cubase doesn’t seem to see this, and each time I boot cubase it has no stored preferences at all. Although it has created the steinberg folders in appdata/roaming folder. I’m confused to why it doesn’t quite work.
I am trying to “freeze” my OS disk to become a clean image each time it boots, all user docs are kept on a un frozen drive that isn’t wiped clean on pc boot-up.
I have seen some topics on this but no-one seems to be trying to do the whole appdata storage to a new location. Is this feasible?
