apply an effect on a part

like applying an effect to a region (part) of an audio file.
when I apply an effect, I “render” and the effect is applied to the whole file.

Are you working in the Audio Editor or Audio Montage? More info about your workflow and settings is needed to really help.

so you better learn how to use it in the right way…

this is non destructive editing, so nothing is getting lost or broken, if you not tell WL to overwrite something
