In addition to the installation of Dorico Pro 4, many additional products are offered for download or installation via Download Assistant, but which are useful and free?
Welcome to the forum, @99Erik. There aren’t too many completely free applications in Steinberg Download Assistant. The main free applications offered by Steinberg are Dorico SE (which you don’t need if you have Dorico Pro 4, of course), HALion Sonic SE (likewise, it is included with our other products), DDP Player (which is useful for playing back files created with WaveLab), and we occasionally have some free sample content – for example, Lo-Fi Piano and a few others listed here under the Free instruments heading.
