Archive and saving sample pathways

I just archived a song and transfered it to new computer. I load it up, point the speeddrummer samples to the right folder. Have to do it many times for each song.
I save the session and close and the reopen.
I have to go through each song pointing speeddrummer to the sample again! What am I doing wrong?
Do I have save the reload the kit to each of the 35 songs? I use speeddrummer for click and cues

Wouldn’t it be easier to copy the entire folder with projects to another machine? C:\Users\user\Documents\VSTLive

Wouldn’t it be easier to use Groove Agent if it’s just for clicks?

It’s asking for the pathway for original user. Unless the user name is the same, it seems not to.
I had to reload the vst instrument patch for each song.

We already had speeddrummer set up. Trying a new vst at this moment is not the first option!

Fair comment but it seems to me you’ve dug yourself quite a large hole for such a simple function.

Alot of people in our team have been using speeddrummer for many different reasons. It seems reasonable to think that the app should have a easier way of pointing to the right folder and save with sessions.
the hole seems using this app…

VSTL has no idea about the internal configuration of a VST, it just knows it can load it and change whatever settings the VST chooses to expose.
The manual for the VST suggests a user agnostic folder structure (“D:\audio\SpeedDrum Kits” in their doc). If you have not structured in that manner then that’s the reason for your problem.
