Are expression map events chased?

Hi,

New Cubase Pro user here (moving from SONAR).

I am now exploring Expression Maps. Once set up, are expression map events chased during playback of midi tracks?

All info appreciated.

Expression Map events are chased, but only within MIDI part boundaries. For example, if you start playback from an empty region and the next MIDI part has no articulation events defined, the default articulation is used. So it’s a good idea to define which articulation should be used by each separate MIDI part.
