Hi everyone!
Why doesn’t this playback correctly? I get a single note on beat 1, a glissando between beat 2 and beat 3, and a glissando between beat 4 and beat 1 of the 2nd measure. What am I doing wrong? I think this used to work. Thank you.

Glissandi now feature a delayed start by default. To prevent this from happening, either go to Library > Playback Options > Glissando Lines and uncheck Delayed start or select one or more glissando lines and activate the Delayed start property without checking the box.
That’s it!!! Thank you so much, John. It seems to me that option should be OFF by default. Thanks.

Béla Bartók sometimes included a footnote in his string parts that every glissando must start immediately and last the entire written duration at a consistent speed. This was needed because to this day that is very much not the way string players and vocalists learn to do it.
If memory serves, you can set the non-delayed start as default in the lower L-hand corner of Playback Options > Glissando Lines after applying it.
Thank you, guys.
