Hi all,
I am trying to recreate this notation in Dorico (which also gets used frequently for bell tree notation):
But Dorico 6 as far as I can tell prevents arpeggiation symbols to be used on a drums staff. Any ways to achieve this?

Perhaps use a wiggly line with an added arrow to the end, and reposition in Engrave mode. Or a jazz lift repositioned, if you don’t need the arrow.

Very good workaround! Perc staves are quite specific in Dorico, as they’re supposed to be used with unpitched instruments, there’s no correlation between height in the staff and the tuning… which is problematic when dealing with those mark trees or similar instruments. This is a good hack!
I had to add the arrow head to Library→Repeatable Symbols.

Or as a Playing technique. SVG made from an arpeggio line.

Using the SVG as an articulation. No need to position in Engrave mode.
