I wonder if cubase has an included arpeggiator with gate funktion? Some arpeggiator has a gate funktion which i believe shortens the midi notes. Im looking for a arpeggiator which has a gate which you can automate.
Both of the Arpache MIDI Inserts have a length control which can be automated. I think the lengths are constrained to standard note lengths like 1/4, 1/8T etc. You could also use the MIDI Modifiers Len. Comp. field (also automateable) to change the length in a more continuous manner.
