Arpeggio not crossing piano hands?

Hi smart people!

I’ve used a two-hand arpeggio a bunch in Dorico, by selecting the desired notes and typing Shift-O “arp.” Easy-peazy—except it’s not working in this particular instance, and I can’t figure out why. When I select the orange notes and apply the “arp” ornament, only the right hand notes are affected.

Is there a way to extend the arpeggio line to include the left hand? Or am i missing something obvious? (I did try eliminating the clef change in the LH, to no avail.)

Thanks for whatever you can suggest!

David

Hi,

I just tried and it seems to work if you don’t select the down stem voice in the upper staff.
I’m not sure why…
You can for example select only the top note of the right hand and the bottom note of the left hand.

Well, huh! That was a super-easy workaround. I wonder what it is about that downstem voice in the RH that Dorico doesn’t like?

Thanks so much for the quick fix, @charles_piano !
