Arpeggios & Rhythmic Slashes

After adding arpeggio marks to rhythmic slashes, I went to Engrave mode and made the arpeggios longer (taller), to be more visible. When I went back to Write mode, there was no change. After fiddling with notations and voices, there was still no change in Write mode. How do I make the arpeggios obvious to a rhythm player?

It looks like you are using Galley view. Switch to Page view and you should see a difference.
