Arrangement window

Hello!
Strange behavior when trying to zoom in the arrangement window and at the same time changing cursor position. This is a very nice and handy way to zoom and change viewing position/ cursor position… This works perfectly in cubase 6 and also in cubase 8 when i open the editor window. For some unknown reasons this does not work in the arrangement window anymore…
Any solutions?

I mean click with the mouse into the ruler area and pull the mouse (button hold down) up/down for zooming and left right for position.
