Arranger: jump mode is not saved in project

Cubase Artist 10.5.12 / Windows 10
Im using an arranger track and set the jump-mode to “1 bar”. Than I save the project. The next time I open the project (immediately) the jump-mode is reset to “end” and my previous “1 bar” setting is lost.

I like to use several projects in a live setup that i activate as soon as I play a certain song.
I like to control the arranger parts with a generic remote / midi foot controller. When I forget to reset the jump-mode to “1 bar” each time I open a song project, the immediate jumping in time will not work, but the parts will all play to the end until the next part is played.

Anyone having the same problem with jump-mode not stored persistently per project?

Hi and welcome,

What do you mean by “jump-mode”, please? There are 3 modes:

  • Normal
  • Repeat Forever
  • Pause After Repeats

Could you attach a screenshot of the Arranger Editor to see the settings, please?

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?

I refer to the following: https://steinberg.help/cubase_pro_artist/v10/en/cubase_nuendo/topics/arranger_track/arranger_track_live_mode_t.html
A decent screenshot is also in the help article and subpage “Jump Mode Options”

The “jump modes” are: none, 4 bars, 2 bars, 1 bar, 1 beat and end

Hi,

Thank you. Reported to Steinberg CAN-28790.
