Arranger Track: Can a state type memory per part be added?

Im just starting to use this after my last full on time using it being on SX3. Im not sure if I used it prior or Im thinking of another door but generally I develop 3 strong themes in many songs for clients. Ive been doing that mainly in Live and then importing into Cubase after its been jammed out for each section
What might be cool (as I remembered from somewhere) was using eg a verse section (either marker or arranger) and building up the max elements that form the palette of that section and having a couple of arranger events in the same time region but named eg v1, v2 etc and just selecting the part/events that create the section, then updating eg v1 wiht only 2 elements, verse 2 has an alternate and increasing addition and so on
This would make it better than Live session view as you have to otherwise duplicate scenes and mash around with that vs a common repo of elements for the section that you simply capture the state of. It keeps the seed stage of creation really tight and neat
Thoughts?

Hi, Your feature request is maybe totally doable and implemented in the future and goes about getting the already good Arranger Track even more flexible.

But - it’s in a way already there since years with Track Versions and with that a lot of possibilities for creativity.

Of course if I understand you right..

Shortly; Do your themes and parts with the full blown ingredients.

Give all the including tracks the same ID and duplicate that version (ver1). And if you need it I mean all kind of tracks that track versions can handle outside the obvious ones also tempo, signature and chord tracks. In 15 there’s more of them than in 12.

Then go on with your changes on different elements excluded/included/changed on different new versions with identical ID and rename them as suitable for you.

On top of that you can of course also use Arranger Track with its merits.

Thanks for your reply @Matsie
Track versions are brilliant…and I use them often but more in the sense of live recording, comping if needed, I bake gain based changes direct to clip etc…

But

It means you still have to lay it all out first and I havent tried switching versions on the fly but that could work so thanks for the suggestion…Ill have to look into it

I see it more like sculpting where you start off with a large stub of cultured possibilities and you select the pieces you want for eg v1 and save it to that arranger object. When you click on that arranger element eg on track or in arranger dialog and it will select the current parts assigned to that arranger section. Hope that makes sense…but I understand that may not be what others want
Memory is a weird thing because I could swear I did that very early on in Cubase…decades ago but might have been something else…a lot of water under the bridge since
