Arrow key movement bug

Hi!

I attached a small string quartet file to reproduce this unintuitive behavior / bug in Dorico 2.0.0.1041 (May 24 2018), macOS High Sierra 10.13.5

In Write mode, Page View, I select the last violoncello note of the first line, i.e., the last note of bar 4. I press the right arrow key. I expect this to move the selection to the first violoncello note in bar 5. What is selected instead is the first violin 1 note of bar 5.

In Galley View, I again select the last violoncello note of bar 4 and press the right arrow key. Again, it selects the first violin 1 note in bar 5, not first violoncello note. In Galley View I definitely wouldn’t have expected this.

Incidentally, if I select the same note in Engrave mode and press the right arrow key, selection moves as I expect it to.

In any case, thanks for your work on Dorico! In general I’ve been very happy with it.

Arrow keys in Dorico Write Mode are supposed to help you get anywhere (=let you move freely in the score without use of mouse or trackpad).
That is why they do not stick to one system or instrument or voice or player.
It takes a while to get used to it though…

This has been discussed at length recently: I refer you to this thread.

Ah. I’m sorry, I don’t know how I missed that.
