Arrow keys during pitch before duration chord entry

I’ve noticed that, when entering a chord with the keyboard in “pitch before duration” mode, if I input a note or notes and then want to arrow up or down to another note in order to add that to the chord, the arrow keys don’t work. Instead, I have to navigate away from the chord, then reselect it in order to add the additional note. (I’ve set the arrow keys to navigate within the staff instead of jumping to a different system)

Is this how it’s supposed to work or am I doing something wrong?

Just giving this a bump. I’m surprised I’m the only person who’s experienced this. Or maybe I’m not explaining it clearly enough? Or maybe I’m the only person who finds it clunky?

I guess that most Dorico users with the experience to answer do not use arrow keys to add notes to chords. Many will use a MIDI keyboard or will use the letter keys on the QWERTY (typing) keyboard along with I or Q to add notes to their chord.

The idea of using arrow keys is something I gather is more familiar to recent Finale alumni and less familiar to longer-term Dorico users.

Makes sense. In that case, I suppose I should just report this as a bug.
