I’ve been creating and debugging a playback template in Dorico Elements. I’ve been using the articulations lane to verify that what I have put into a test score is creating the correct articulations. Then using write mode, I’ve been clicking on notes in the score and verifying that the VST is switching to the correct articulations. Having disabled most of the articulations, I was still seeing that the articulation on the VST did not always match the articulation in the articulation lane. I checked using scrub playback, identical results. I then tried just playing the file with all articulations enabled, and magically, all the articulations switched correctly! Has anyone experienced this?
