Arturia Keylab Drum Pad for Layers Mute/Unmute

I’ve tried everything. I want to use my Arturia Keylab MK3 drum pad to quickly mute/unmute layers or parts but neither is working correctly. Honestly, I’m brand new at midi stuff so i’m not surprised about this. I can’t even find a tutorial on this. I did set layers in shortcut & connections. Layer one will mute/unmute correctly but layer two will not. I set the pads on GATE, NOTES & CHANNEL 16. the shortcut learns the key correctly, I think… but only one layer will mute/unmute correctly. As soon as I add a second layer, the mutes become erratic. I’m sooo confused now.

I figured it out! I didn’t make layer shortcuts at all. I changed the settings in the project select parts to match the key notes that the pads output. Now it’s working perfectly. So cool!
