I’ve created a MIDI Remote surface for Arturia Keylab mkII 88 with a limited set of functionality: precisely, it maps 8 knobs to focused quick controls to use with VSTis/effects.
I’m not sure how this thing exactly work, but I use MIDI port (not DAW/MIDIOUT2), and it works in User mode. The encoders (knobs) are mapped to CC’s 111-118 using Arturia MIDI Center.
