ASIO driver deactivation cannot be disabled

Cubase 15 – MacBook Air M1, UR44
‘Disable ASIO driver when programme is running in background’ cannot be turned off. As soon as I switch to another application, I can no longer hear anything.
How can I activate the ASIO driver so that it also runs when Cubase is NOT in the foreground?

Do you have the latest 15.0.10 installed, please? What happens, if you do so? Does it immediately return back even in UI or does it look OK (as expected in the UI)?
