ASIO Guard Help Please

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well. I’m good.

So I’m having some issues brief issues with my PC choking momentarily, then gone.

I see the ASIO meter is pretty close to peaking and I assume the “choking” IS the PC peaking.

So my question is: How do I fix this and what should my settings be set to?

NOTE: I have 6 VST Instruments loaded. Not all being used at the same time.

Is there anything on the project other than the 6 VSTi’s? Any audio tracks, groups and / or sends? What’s your approximate (non-VSTi) plugin count?

What is your ASIO buffer size set to, and what is your ASIO Guard setting in the Studio menu (low, med or hi)?

Also, what is your power plan setting on Windows and what processor are you running on?

Sorry for all the questions but it helps to determine what steps you might take to solve your problem.
