Change ASIO-Guard Level setting to ‘High’ or ‘Low’, select ‘Okay’. Close window.
Reopen Audio Settings: ASIO-Guard Level setting has reverted to ‘Normal’.
Expected:
ASIO-Guard Level settings to be retained.
Hi,
It works on my side here (macOS 15; Cubase 15.0.5). Did you click the OK button in the Studio Setup dialog, please?
Hi Martin,
Just did some further digging:
C15 has added an ‘Audio Settings’ option [ under the ‘Settings’ option in the Cubase drop-down menu.
Changing the AG Level in Settings is working fine for me [ there are ‘Reset’ / ‘Apply’ buttons above the Cancel/Save bar ].
When I go to to ‘Audio Settings’ the ‘Apply’ button is missing, just the ‘Reset’ button, which is why the changes aren’t being saved?
Hi,
OK, now I understand.
You can make the very same settings in the Studio > Studio Setup > Audio System > Advanced option. Here, you don’t have to click Apply; you can click OK on the whole dialog, and it works.
But you are talking about the Studio > Audio Connections > Outputs > Audio Settings.
Here, I can confirm, if I click on OK, the setting is not stored.
Reported to Steinberg. Thank you.
Great, glad we could get to the bottom of this. Thanks Martin.
