ASIO Meter Showing 10% all the time

Hi all

Why is my ASIO meter costantly flickering at 10-15% even when nothing it playng? Is this something to do with Cubase constantly polling my interface so it’s alawys ready to go or is to do with the plug-ins i’m using? ASIO indicator jumps to about 25% when i press play.

My machine is brand new running Win 7 64. I’ve posted a screen grab.

It’s perfectly normal. Some plugins are processing the silence, which is present while you’re stopped.

Thanks Jarno removing Guitar Rig as a insert dropped it to virtually 0…
