Has any gotten audio out on channels 7-12 using the Yamaha URX44 interface. Ch. 1/2 & 3/4 are fed directly into Mix 1 & 2 respectively as stereo pairs on the URX44 which can then be assigned to the hardware outputs 1/2 & 3/4. Ch. 5/6 feeds in to FX 1 and FX 2 respectively as mono FX sends from Nuendo (or Cubase) into the URX FX busses. But I can’t seem to get ASIO channels 7-12 to anywhere. The URX has a 12 channel “virtual mixer”. So it would make sense that these are “virtual” stem channels that can be used for mixing or routing on the URX for a variety of reasons. There are a variety of use cases for this, but I’m just wondering how to get it to work if it does at all? If it’s not currently implemented, then why do they show up as usable outputs in the ASIO driver implementation? Anyone figured this out?
Also, I can’t get the URX ASIO driver to work in Wavelab. I have to fall back to the Steinberg ASIO driver to get audio into the URX44 from Wavelab. Which is actually working great, because I can separate audio from Wavelab on a different virtual channel on the URX from audio coming from ‘other’ system apps in Windows, like Chrome or Windows Media player. But I’d really love to figure out why Wavelab isn’t working with the Yamaha Steinberg ASIO Driver.
