ASIO time usage

I just upgraded to windows 7 64 bit, from vista, and did the same with cs5, went from the 32 bit version to 64 bit. Upon doing so my us-428 was not compatible with windows, so went out and got the us-122mkII. I just started a new song, things went fine for a while, and all of a sudden my ASIO time usage meter started to go off the charts, and it gets choppy and it sounds like i have a scratch track. I’ve played with the latency with no success. Tried restarting CS5 and the issue is still there. Any ideas or suggestions??

ok, i kind of feel like a door knob, but I found the problem. It was a tuner plug in that I’ve never seen before and just checked it out on a track and forgot to turn it off.
