Asking about new version Cubase's editor

Hello:
I just jumped from a very old version to Cubase 14. There are many functions I couldn’t figure out.The biggest problem at the moment is in the editor:

  1. I want to copy/paste events but there is no response (I have already run Cubase as administrator, but this method is useless)
  2. In the past, sustain marks were divided into red at the beginning and blue at the end. It seems that the new version cannot select the color back to the old version, and when I draw the mark with the pen, it always turns into a “gradient” (I just want a simple 127 and 0), is there any way to be positive?

Thank for your guidance.

What if there is a setting that I can select “Use old version settings” maybe better…

1: I just use Windows Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V on selected events/parts.
2: In the Key Editor, right at the bottom, under the vertical keyboard, there is a tiny, tiny downward pointing arrow - click it and a menu appears with the option “Type of New Controller Events” - from there you can select “Ramp” or “Step”.
edit:
Ctrl+P - what is that!?!?

I’m assuming this should read “Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V”.

@girlsati I strongly recommend to always keep this set to “Step”. Although visually appealing, there are some unfortunate side effects with the Ramp mode as it stands.
