When auditioning midi files in the media bay, I currently have to ensure that my project has an instrument track and that this has the preferred instrument & sound loaded to hear an audio preview of the file…
To build out a track I might audition several sample types, I. E. drums, piano, organ, guitar, synth, etc so this results in quite a lot of admin… I’m thinking there must be an easier way to solve for this? i.e. is it possible to assign an instrument to midi files either by tag
i.e. all ‘drum’ files should load in addictive drums or by folder name, etc?
So I guess my ask is how to assign a vst instrument to play midi samples in media-bay
