Assign key commands to cue not possible?

I am trying to assign a key command to cues, but I only see option to select cue and what it does is goes throug all cues before it goes back to the mix. where is the key command for individual cues, I do not see this in option?

Cue 1 to 4 On/Off is available in Control Room, if all you need is to switch them on and off. If it’s assigning channels to cues, that’s not possibile I’m afraid.

It is assigning a shortcut to listen between different cues. Were the additional cues added later because that seems like key command is missing if you have more than one cue enabled?

Ok, then it’s just this command you’re already using, “Select Control Room Source”. It’s supposed to cycle through all available sources, as configured in the Audio Connections window, Control Room Tab. The only thing you could do if you have a set number of sources and you want to save a keystroke, is to make a macro, stacking it twice or thrice so that it takes you to the wanted Cue with just one press. But getting back to the main mix would still be a problem. (That’s the type of job for AHK, until direct source selection is available for key commands. Maybe it’s already possible through the MIDI Remote, but I haven’t checked yet.)

If this is not possible so how do people switch the cues when they listen if they want to hear just nr 1 and then have to cycle through all other cues in order to get back to the mix…Before it was the UI now is key commands, This looks like somebody forgotten, otherwise why would not be possible to assign key commands to individual cues, intentionally ommited, forgotten by design? don’t think so. Report a bug?

It’s not a bug. But it’s a good feature request.
I would add the feature request tag.

They click directly on the one they want, or tap tap tap the key to get there, and tap tap tap to get back again.

:man_shrugging:t3: Who knows? I assume that the keycommand that cycles through the sources was deemed sufficient.

@mlib is right. This is not a bug, because there’s nothing broken. But you can add the feature-request tag, so that other users can vote for it, or add their support with their messages. For one, I support this. I would like to be able to select any Control Room source directly with a key command.
