Assign samples to Damper pedal?

Is it possible to make the damper pedal in Halion 4 assign (for play) samples when you press and release the pedal?

MegaTrig has a condition which is MIDI controller 64 - Damper pedal. You can set its value to “127” (min and max) or “0” (the same) to define (together with “trigger new notes” command) which samples will be played with the pedal down and up respectively. I’ve never done this myself, but I think it should work just fine.

Unfortunately this is not what I wanted. when you press the damper pedal (MIDI controller 64) sample does not play.

You can set HALion to trigger only a fixed note by pressing the damper pedal (since this controller has only two states: on ond off). For this you’ll have to create a MegaTrig module in your layer,choose “Sustain On” as your condition and set “Fixed Note” in the “Trigger” field. Will that work for you?
