The new modulators are great and work well on my PC. Unfortunately, they seem to be buggy on my Windows 11 laptop, though. As soon as I assign a modulator, e.g. an LFO, to a plugin parameter, Cubase crashes (division by zero).
Hi,
just to let you know: The crash is unrelated to the Modulators and seems to have something to do with the ChordTrack. We will investigate it further.
Experienced at least 7 crashes within an hour last night when attempting to open 3rd party inserts on tracks that had modulators active (on M1 Pro, Sonoma)
I will try to replicate tonight and provide crash dumps.
I just tried to assign modulators again and Cubase indeed always crashes independent on the used plug-ins.
Since Cubase didn’t create crash dumps in the Documents folder this time, I uploaded one from %localappdata%\CrashDumps: Cubase14.exe.21484.zip
Not sure if these help, but I just created some further crash dumps. All are from new projects with a single empty instrument track. As soon as I assign a modulator to a parameter, Cubase crashes.
Hello, I have the same problem. Wanted to have a Session with Modulators but they were just crashing whenever I try to use them. I used old Cubase 13 Sessions to try modulators out.
The Problems occurs whenever a Modulator is assigned to anything. Similar issue as in this video:
Hope you fix it quick because I am ready to get nasty with the modulators
