Assigning a user preset in the Logical Editor to a shortcut key

I tried to assign a user preset in the Logical Editor to a shortcut key and use it for MIDI remote, but it doesn’t work.
Is this a bug?
The shortcut key works.

I tried the same thing to set the track color via offset of the selected track and but it would only work when I ran the Logical Editor preset and not the shortcut (so I guess backwards). I’ll be in lurk mode for this one.
